Third Annual Farmer’s Market Cocktail Competition

 It’s back!  Join us for the 3rd annual Farmer’s Market Cocktail Competition!   Last year was record-breaking attendance, we plan to have an even bigger attendance this year.  And big thanks to Tito’s Handmade Vodka for sponsoring the event again this year!    We will be creating teams of bartenders to compete in a race to create the best Farmer’s Market cocktail at the Old Town Scottsdale Farmer’s Market.

When: Saturday, May 7th

9am – Bartender Arrival Time.  

9:30am – Each team is given a $25 budget and 30 minutes to peruse the market and make their purchases. 

10:00am – All teams must be back at their station ready to make their cocktail.  

10:30 – Judging begins.

11:00am – Winner announced.

Who can come and watch: Any and all!  No need to RSVP to just come and watch. (Be sure to bring a grocery bag if you want to shop!)

Where: Scottsdale Farmer’s Market, Old Town Scottsdale (3815 Brown St.)

Cocktails will be judged on taste, aroma, presentation and how well the bartenders incorporate Tito’s Handmade Vodka and market-fresh ingredients.  ALSO … just like last year, we will have a social media component and expect each team to document their experience on Instagram, Twitter or Facebook using the #USBGFarmersMktComp2016. 

Prize: $1000 per TEAM + trophy (for each person on the team).  (Trophy will be engraved after we have the winners.)

There will also be an Audience / Crowd Favorite award as well.

Judges to be announced as we get closer.
